Most people know the city as the city of Jepara Kartini, because a female hero has been born in this city. In addition the City holds Kartini, carving the city designation is also very fitting, because of the many craftsmen carve spread in the city of Jepara. Kartini Beach, located in still in the city center two kilometers from west Jepara city government is an alternative vacation spot for people in the town of Jepara, and this place is also held every year where the Idul Fitri celebration held one week after Idul Fitri, which is a tradition handed down which is still carried out until now known by the community as a tradition Jepara "kupatan" (derived from the name "diamond" special food Lebaran / Muslim festival). Kupatan tradition in Kartini Beach is a ceremonial head of buffalo into the sea washout made by the Regent and the local community leaders. 

This tradition is usually done in the morning at around 6:30 pm at the Kartini beach, after a few moments to prayer, the ceremony began and the buffalo head in the sea Going ketengah.
